Abstract Background In humans, various diseases are associated with the accumulation of free radicals. The antioxidants can scavenge radicals and reduce their impact; thus, search for effective natural plant origin is indispensable. present study aims to determine, first time, flavonoid compounds profile investigate radical scavenging antioxidant properties methanolic extract Taxus baccata L. from Algeria.
